As a Technical Ad Operations Manager at SOFTGAMES you have the chance to work in an agile environment to schedule, implement and manage various online advertising campaigns. The Technical Ad Operations Manager will work with various teams and ad serving platforms to manage pre-roll and mid-roll campaigns across our HTML5 games network, analyze data and troubleshoot/QA among other responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant work experience required
Advanced knowledge of ad serving techniques and experience using DFP, LKQD platforms or similar 3rd party technologies
Strong understanding of how web protocols work and experience troubleshooting HTTP communication, including browser, in-app and s2s
Strong knowledge of VAST standard, version 3.0 and higher
Understanding of RTB protocol, REST APIs, web cookies, DBMS
Troubleshooting skills, experience using debugging tools, e.g. Charles, Fiddler
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Outstanding time management and customer service skills
Strong analytical background
As a bonus:
Understanding media buying
Strong understanding of SQL-like query languages
Experience in jQuery, AJAX and similar web libs/frameworks
Experience in working in high traffic environment, using monitoring tools, with massive user data
Developer experience with one of the following languages is a huge plus: JS, PHP, Python, Ruby
